Fake Fetch

Wahey! I'm making a post!

Just mucking about, really -- listening to music, watching vids on YouTube and enjoying being at home. I love being at home. Like REALLY love it, especially now that we have a dog friend living with us. He pees on the carpet sometimes, but overall he is an immense joy to me. Best of all, I love watching Paul play with him. They've got this game that I call 'fake fetch'. Fake Fetch is when Paul pretends to throw the ball way across the room and then Bucky, who is so caught up in the moment, anticipates the throw and doesn't notice the ball being concealed behind Paul's back. As soon as Bucky is off to find and fetch the ball, Paul tucks it away in some corner of the sofa for Bucky to find when he realizes that the ball is nowhere near the direction he originally thought it was. I know it all sounds so dumb, but it keeps them both occupied for hours. Paul can watch TV while Bucky is sniffing around on his mad hunt, and Bucky is entirely occupied until he finds the ball and does it all over again. It's proper entertainment, I tell you. And it's cool to watch my boys enjoy each other so.

Rightyo! I've gotten past the first step of making a blog: actually making an account AND remembering the password. The next step is to make a post, I suppose. Or perhaps determine a theme, topic, or direction for my blog. There are many things it could become, with the most probable being a neglected little cobwebby corner of the internet. Or perhaps it could become a compelling testament to the wondrous thing that is my life *smirk*. Either way, it will no doubt be rambling and moody as I begin to figure out, just what I'd like to talk about. Many things come to mind, but only time will tell what moves me enough to commit to words that others will actually read (freaky thought, that). But, until my next post, it's all up in the air. Shout outs to Neil and Stephen! Miss you guys loads!
